3D flower mandala focal wall art
The idea for this mandala had been growing in my mind for a number of months before I brought it to life in my craft room. I drew the design in CAD and had each petal made on a CNC machine. Each one is hand painted with the addition of a number of mirrors which reflect the light.
It is made from MDF, painted with acrylic paints, and sealed with a matt varnish after putting it all together. There are 84 petals and 60 mirrors, and it really was a labour of love. it measures about 1 meter across so is a eye catching piece of wall art.
